This work is adapted from a PS2 game by IDEA FACTORY. "Gakuen Toshi Varanowāru" (Gakuen Toshi Varanowāru) is an adventure + simulation game released for the PlayStation 2 by Idea Factory on October 31, 2002. A Nintendo GameCube version titled "Gakuen Toshi Varanowāru Rōzesu" was released on January 23, 2004. It is set in the same world as Spectral Force and Generation of Chaos, and its story is established to take place 14 years after the events of Generation of Chaos IV. Many characters make a reappearance in the Spectral Souls series.
