Sixteen-year-old Georgia Nolan dreams of becoming the world's first female firefighter. When a mysterious arsonist begins setting fires on Broadway, New York's firefighters start disappearing one by one. The Mayor of New York calls Georgia's father, Shawn, out of retirement to lead the investigation into the vanishings. Desperate to assist her father and save her city, Georgia disguises herself as a young man named "Joe" and joins a small, ragtag team of firefighters determined to stop the arsonist.
