An irresponsible guard and a child on the golden Maya throne are about to share a dangerous journey with you. An animated short from France's Gobelins school. This film is even shorter, only two minutes long, but the pace is incredibly fast. If it weren't in the animated world, that guard would probably have died several times over. The running sequence has a very Assassin's Creed vibe, albeit a comedic version. Compared to the previous Gobelins film, Pandora, this one features much more vibrant colors. It could be said to have the most vivid textures I've seen in any film, except perhaps for Tekkonkinkreet. It's worth noting that the film's music is very sophisticated, carrying a strong ancient Inca flavor.
