An anime depicting the adventures of Sally, a girl from the magical kingdom, in the fairy realm. It is a film adaptation of the manga of the same name by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, with a screenplay by Akiyoshi Sakai, directed by Osamu Kasai, and animation direction by Yasuhiro Yamaguchi. Released as part of the "Toei Anime Festival." 　　Sally, who loves spring, was puzzled that spring was taking so long to arrive this year. While Sally was worrying about this, her friend Sumire brought over a mysterious picture book. From within the pages of the book, they could hear someone calling for help. As Sally, Yoshiko, Sumire, the mischievous triplets, and even the playful Polon gazed at the beautiful picture book of the fairy world, they were all drawn into its pages. Before they knew it, Sally and her friends found themselves in the land of the fairies...
