"My Demon" is set in a near-future Earth where a nuclear explosion momentarily overlapped with hell, causing contaminated hellish dust to flow into our world. Kendo, an elementary school student living in the downtown area of "Tokyo," raises a red sand grain he found in the forest into a "Demon," naming it Ana and living peacefully with it. Though Kendo wants to protect Ana—a "Demon" despised and targeted with murderous intent by people—his mother, who had been watching over Kendo and Ana's relationship, becomes involved in an unexpected accident... Thus begins the great adventure of Kendo and Ana to save his mother.
