In a tranquil small town, at the heart of the neighborhood, stands a small inn. A man wearing a top hat sits on the balcony reading, surrounded by books, completely at ease. Suddenly, the clear sky is shrouded by rolling dark clouds, a hurricane strikes, fierce winds howl, the windows and frames of the houses shake violently, and even the words from the books scatter with the wind. People and livestock, furniture and houses are swept into the air one after another. Though the man clings tightly to the balcony railing, he is still carried into the sky along with the inn. Soon, they land in a desolate and somewhat strange place. The young man wanders about, searching for a place to rest. Then, he sees a beautiful house, entirely filled with books. The book-loving man is overjoyed; he immerses himself in this ocean of books, delighting in it so much that he forgets to return... This film won the 2012 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
