银河英雄传说 黄金之翼

This work is an adaptation of the comic of the same name, originally written by Yoshiki Tanaka for manga artist Katsumi Michihara and released as a side story in 1986. It depicts the childhood of Reinhard and Kircheis through to the Fifth Battle of Iserlohn Fortress in Cosmic Year 792 / Imperial Year 483 (a period preceding the "Valley of White Silver" in the OVA series and occurring between "The Duelist" and "The Retrievers"). The work received a theatrical release following its OVA launch.
