Six years after the shocking conclusion of the first season, on the 20th Floor—a narrow gate for all Selectors— stands Wangye Cheng, a man who continues to challenge the Tower, vowing to become the "King of the Tower" no matter how many times he fails. Burdened by debt due to the enormous examination fees, Wangye takes on the test once more as his final chance. There, he encounters a mysterious long-haired man named Biore, who possesses overwhelming strength. However, Biore is a Slayer candidate of "FUG," a criminal organization opposing Zahard, the ruler of the Tower.
