"Jackie Chan Adventures Season 1" is an animated-style adventure comedy that follows Jackie Chan and his 11-year-old niece, Jade, as they embark on adventures around the world. Assisting Jackie and Jade is their uncle in America (directly translated as Uncle in Chinese), who runs an antique shop and is also a magician. The series includes live-action segments featuring Jackie Chan himself, and Jackie's voice in the show is adapted from his own. Although Jackie's "official" profession in the story is that of an archaeologist, he also assists Sheriff Black of the 13th District police organization. In the search for the twelve talismans, Jackie discovers that each talisman grants its holder a unique mystical power, with each representing one of the Chinese zodiac signs. However, when combined, they unleash ultimate darkness. Throughout their journeys around the world, Jackie and Jade experience a variety of adventures. Relying on Jackie's exceptional martial arts skills, mental fortitude, and his ability to turn anything into a defensive weapon at any time, they overcome one adventure after another. While Jackie heavily depends on his martial arts and wisdom, he does not hesitate to accept assistance from the 13th District's high-tech gadgets and vehicles.
