"Squirrel and Hedgehog" is a 1977 North Korean long-form animated series produced by the April 26 Children's Film Studio (SEK Studio). It is currently known as the earliest animated series from North Korea. In the animation, the story takes place in a location called 'Flower Hill' (Kkotdongsan), where small animals such as squirrels, hedgehogs, and ducks live. However, they face threats from rats, weasels, wolves, and foxes, and must protect their homeland.
