This animated series tells the stories that happen to "Catdog," a hybrid animal of a cat and a dog. Due to their unique condition, Catdog often faces harassment from troublemakers such as the gang Greaser Dogs, the little blue mice, and their neighbor Winslow. Albie Hecht, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Production at Nickelodeon, said that the creators of the series wanted to use these two characters to convey to children that "overtime battles between kids can lead to mutual harm." The series revolves around a cat and a dog who share the same body but have different personalities, yet they are the best of friends and brothers. The cat is very well-mannered, while the dog is rowdy—chasing garbage trucks, chasing cars, and doing many things the cat wants no part of.
