This film uses psychedelic imagery and rock music to narrate the coming-of-age story of an unconventional band frontman. In his childhood, Pink (played by Bob Geldof) loses his father in World War II, while his mother shares an ambiguous relationship with the family doctor, leaving deep emotional scars on his young heart. At school, he despises the rigid, spoon-fed education system and is always ready to fight back against it. As an adult, he meets a flirtatious dancer at a bar and becomes intimate with her. However, the satisfaction of lust does not last long, and he soon grows weary of this unreliable relationship. His suspicion and jealousy toward women reach an extreme, leading him to erupt hysterically when she tries to win him back again, as if he must shatter the entire world to find peace. Throughout this period, he also expresses strong anti-war sentiments and cynical views. Amid a materially abundant life, his spiritual world remains impoverished, and in an era dominated by industrialization, he clings stubbornly to the crumbling ruins of his dreams...
