Mother Meijia and her four adorable chicks—Maiqi, Dayu, Duoduo, and Huanhuan—live happily in the forest alongside other animals. One day, human excavators enter the forest, cutting down trees and destroying the chicks' home. Forced to leave, Mother Meijia leads her chicks on a journey, hoping to find a new home "beyond the mountains." However, reaching "beyond the mountains" is no easy task—they must cross through a city inhabited by humans. The chicks are filled with curiosity about everything in the city, unaware that danger is steadily approaching them...
