Early morning, the lakeside was silent. A gray, a white, and a yellow rabbit happily chased butterflies. Suddenly, a "gudong" sound came from the lake, startling the little rabbits. Just as they were about to investigate, another "gudong" was heard, frightening the rabbits even more. "Run, Gudong is coming, escape quickly!" They turned and fled. A fox, dancing with a bird, collided head-on with the running rabbits. Upon hearing "Gudong is coming!" the fox also grew nervous and joined the escape. They then woke a sleeping bear and a monkey in a tree. Without asking for details, the bear and monkey followed them in their flight. An elephant, feeling surprised, stopped the fox and asked, "What happened?" The fox gasped for breath and said, "Gudong is coming, it's a monster with three heads and eight legs..." And so, more and more animals joined the fleeing crowd, including hippos, tigers, wild boars... The commotion on the shore greatly puzzled a frog in the lake, who stopped the terrified group and asked, "What's going on?" Everyone clamored to describe what a terrifying monster "Gudong" was. The frog asked, "Who saw it?" The bear pushed the monkey, the monkey pushed the fox, and the fox pushed the rabbits—ultimately, no one had actually witnessed it. They decided to go back and see for themselves. Returning to the lakeside, they heard another "gudong." Looking carefully, they realized it was the sound of a papaya falling into the water. The animals couldn't help but burst into laughter.
