Centered around the journey of Tao Yao, Liu Gongzi, and Mo Ya in the capital city, this story reveals that the distance between humans and humans, as well as between humans and demons, may not be as insurmountable as one might think. Whether it is the interactions between Tao Yao and Ding Sansi, the guidance that Old Zhang provides to Liu Gongzi, transcending both life and culinary skills, or Mo Ya’s dilemma when facing the Xirang, each member of the group gains new growth. At the same time, characters like Feng Wule and Chen Baishui also find their own redemption. Perhaps life’s journey is just like this—mutually influential and filled with complex emotions.
