玻璃琴

A 19-minute animated film, one of the first collaborations between Khazanovsky and composer Schnittke. There is no dialogue; the story is driven entirely by visuals and music. The theme of the animation is exceptionally serious and bold: the free expression of artists is suppressed, yet the artist who breaks through these constraints offers the masses new dreams and grants them a broader perspective.
