This is a family animated film centered on "love and emotions," adapted from several original Chinese picture books. It explores common themes in parent-child interactions such as mother-son relationships, sibling bonds, neighborly affection, intergenerational companionship, deep ties to one’s homeland, traditional cuisine, and growing up away from home. Using diverse animation styles like ink wash, paper-cutting, watercolor, and collage, the film unfolds a sincere and heartfelt portrayal of growth and destiny.
The seven stories are presented in sequence: "Little Rabbit’s Question," "The Firefly Girl," "The Little Train," "Uncle Kuai’s Dessert Shop," "General Hng and General Ha," "Grandma’s Blue Metal Cabinet Wheelchair," and "Yiwazi’s Sunday."
