After Zhou Yihuo and the other Bakugan boys defeated Similda, Earth finally regained peace and tranquility. More than 20 years later, at a mysterious archaeological site, Zhou Yihuo—now an archaeologist—and Long Lingyin suddenly disappeared, leaving behind their mischievous son, Zhou Xiaohuo. Zhou Xiaohuo discovered that his parents' archaeological research was related to several attributes of Bakugan, seemingly concealing a massive secret. Their research was funded by the powerful Tianwang Universe, an organization involved in energy and space exploration. According to his father's archaeological findings, cards had actually arrived on Earth in ancient times, leaving evidence of their existence all over the world. Zhou Yihuo found that the key to unraveling all the mysteries of Bakugan was a stone slab—the Ultimate Sacred Stone. It is said that everything in the world is composed of six elements, and no matter how they are combined, they cannot exceed this limit. However, the Ultimate Sacred Stone is the seventh element, not belonging to any of the six. It is a microcosm corresponding to the macrocosm, containing the origin of all things and naturally capable of influencing matter, the body, and even the soul. Thus, to find the answers and save his parents, Zhou Xiaohuo embarked on an adventure with upgraded Bakugan.
