On the shores of Qinghai Lake lives a group of dancers of the grasslands—the Tibetan antelopes. Among the herd, there has long been a legend of the earth-shaking "Fire God" beyond the railway to the east of the grasslands. Though the herd has always been threatened by wolves, they dare not cross the boundary. Yet a young antelope named "Moji" is particularly curious and deeply intrigued by the "Fire God." While fleeing from a wolf attack, the injured Moji crosses the "danger line" (the railway tracks) spoken of by the elders and enters the territory of the "Fire God." There, he is rescued by the scientist Luo Renping and his daughter, who are working in the area.
Set against the backdrop of China's independent development of nuclear weapons in the early years of the nation's founding, this film, through the perspective of cartoon animals and the bond between the scientist father and daughter, showcases the spirit of the "Two Bombs, One Satellite" project. It has been designated by the National Radio and Television Administration as part of the public welfare broadcast lineup of documentaries, animations, and television programs celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
