"National Treasure Star Journey" begins with the Palace Museum's scroll animation "Ancient Painting Animation: Qing Dynasty Xu Yang's 'Sun, Moon, and Five Planets Align' Painting," using the astronomical wonder of the sun, moon, and the five planets—Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn—aligning as the story's backdrop. It follows the protagonist "Kuixing," who is entrusted with leading a team to retrieve their playful companions across the vast universe and accomplish the mission of aligning the five planets. This film is the Palace Museum's first animation that combines social media stickers with 3D cultural relics. It not only introduces newly created 3D cultural relic characters such as the "Western Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Pig," "Tang Dynasty Sancai Glazed Polo-Playing Lady Figurine," "15th-Century Vietnamese Blue-and-White Monkey King with Added Colors" (from the Southern Branch of the Palace Museum collection), and "Qing Dynasty Coral Kuixing Pointing to the Dipper Bonsai," but also features, for the first time, a rapper performing a Rap theme song, showcasing an unprecedented and innovative style.
