"SHUDō" is a remarkable graduation project by three students from the prestigious French animation school Gobelins: To-Anh Bach, Charles Badiller, and Hugo Weiss. The art style is sharp and distinctive, with fluid and brilliant action design. Particularly impressive is the seamless integration of scene transitions and narrative development. The tragic essence of the story becomes captivating from the very first transition, clearly highlighting the stark contrast between love and brutal conflict. Throughout the film, three masterful transitions are employed at the beginning, middle, and end, revealing the protagonists' past intimacy and the rapid shifts in the current battle.
