Adapted from the epic Chinese mythological tale, it follows the charismatic Monkey (voiced by Jimmy O. Yang) as he embarks on a grand adventure with his magical golden staff. Along the way, he captures demons and monsters, defeats the eccentric Dragon King (voiced by Bowen Yang), and ultimately confronts his greatest enemy of all: himself!
