雨中潜水员

On a night of torrential rain, inside an old small house, an ordinary man sits by the window lost in thought. Soon after, an elegant and reserved woman enters. They share a simple embrace, a kiss, then sit down to savor coffee amidst the rain, with almost no verbal exchange throughout. Coffee always runs out, and that becomes the moment of their farewell. The man rises and leaves, braving the rain to arrive at the docks. He is a diver, entering the diving bell as if stepping into another world. The woman bids the man farewell and lies alone on the bed, slipping into a slumber that seems as though she may never wake. She is a dentist, her dreams always intricately linked to tooth extractions. Men and women busy themselves in their respective worlds, meeting only briefly throughout their lives... The film won the Jury Grand Prix at the 2010 Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films.
