A bee emerges from a flower and drifts aimlessly through the air. It discovers an abandoned phonograph in a meadow of blossoms. A record rests upon it, and the bee learns to use its stinger as a stylus. Music plays from the record. Other insects begin to dance to the melody. As different songs are heard, the insects react to each in their own way. When the bee grows weary, a hedgehog briefly takes its place as the stylus. The bee soon returns to playing the music. It then learns to dance along to the tunes. The dance party concludes when the satisfied bee flies away from the phonograph.
