The divine power of the gods is gradually fading, and by the time of Pipi Zhu's generation, very little remains. As a descendant of the gods, Pipi Zhu yearns for the glorious mythological world of the past. Although his grandfather has brought him to live in the city, exposing him to many modern things, he still feels a deep attachment to his hometown, Seven Colors Valley—the dwelling place of the gods' descendants. 　　 This summer vacation, with his grandfather's permission, Pipi Zhu returns to Tianjiang Village with his pet Duomi to spend the holidays. There, he reunites with his childhood friend Situ and Sun Xiaowu, with whom he once had a minor conflict. Amidst the fun and playful squabbles with his friends, they accidentally uncover clues about the whereabouts of a legendary gem. Driven by curiosity, these young descendants of the gods, who have almost lost their divine powers, eagerly set off on a journey to find the fabled gem. Along the way, they meet the tech-savvy DIY enthusiast, the beautiful girl Sha Dingding, who becomes their friend and joins them on their adventure. From then on, Pipi Zhu and his companions embark on a thrilling journey together to search for the magical gemstones.
