In response to the National Government's launch of the civic education campaign, Lianhua Company produced an animated short film promoting discipline, morality, order, cleanliness, and repeatedly educating the public on propriety, righteousness, integrity, and shame. It emphasized not spitting or littering in public places and cultivating clean habits.
