After finishing their performance in the town where Anpanman and his friends live, the daikon actor and his troupe board SL Man to travel to the next town. During the journey, troupe member Rina-chan suddenly says she wants to go to Kurayami Valley, surprising everyone. This is because it is a terrifying place where a treasure that controls darkness is hidden, and once you enter, you can never return. However, Rina-chan has someone she absolutely must find. Meanwhile, after hearing about the treasure, Baikinman and Dokin-chan sneak into Kurayami Valley ahead of the others. They find the treasure jar and open it, releasing Black Daimaou. "Where is Shine?!" he roars. Baikinman, caught off guard, lies and says they are on SL Man. Because of this, SL Man and the others are turned to stone by Daimaou. On the other hand, Anpanman, informed of SL Man's crisis, hurries to Kurayami Valley and rescues Rina-chan. The rescued Rina-chan tells Anpanman and the others about Prince Shine, who sealed the violent Black Daimaou inside the jar. The person Rina-chan is searching for is none other than Prince Shine, who went missing during the battle with Daimaou. To defeat Black Daimaou and save their petrified friends, Anpanman and the others set off for Kurayami Valley once more. However, faced with the immensely powerful Black Daimaou, they struggle. Yet, upon hearing Rina-chan play "Te no Hira wo Taiyou ni" on her ocarina, everyone's spirits are boosted a hundredfold. Furthermore, the Yamira Sword that flies into Rina-chan's hand emits light, and Anpanman successfully defeats the light-weak Daimaou with his Sunshine Anpunch. Thus, their petrified friends are restored, Prince Shine, who was trapped inside the Yamira Sword, is safely rescued, Rina-chan becomes the Ocarina Princess, and Kurayami Valley returns to its original peaceful state as the Valley of Light.
