This work was later remade. It aired on TV Tokyo Network (TXN) stations from October 12, 1987, to September 20, 1988, twenty years after the original series' broadcast. It consists of 44 episodes. This version was in color and sponsored by multiple companies. For the remake, only the production stages from the artwork onward were redone. A unique approach was taken with the audio, reusing the original soundtracks preserved at Tatsunoko Production. Furthermore, some visual gags were incorporated into the artwork, such as changing the character voiced by guest actor Jōji Yanami to Secobitch from *Time Patrol Tai Otasukeman*.
