In a village in South America, a little girl named Mia, worried about her father who works far away and dreams of him every night, sets out alone on a journey to find him. Meanwhile, her father is truly in danger deep within the forest at a development site, where a strange tunnel collapse has trapped him, leaving his fate unknown. It turns out that the ancient forest in the mountains where this project is located is said to be cursed and inhabited by mysterious monsters. Determined to reach her father, Mia ignores the warnings of people along the way and presses on toward the forest... A French animated film. This is director Jacques-Rémy Girerd's second animated feature following "Raining Cats and Frogs" (La Prophétie des grenouilles). It won the 2009 European Film Award for Best Animated Feature.
