Ordinary 13-year-old Anne Boonchuy discovers a mysterious treasure chest that transports her to Amphibia, a world inhabited by frogs, toads, and giant insects. With the help of a young frog named Sprig, she must adapt to life in this strange land and, in the process, discovers the first true friendship of her life.
