"Kuang Kuang Kuang" is the name of an animated series produced by Beijing Huxiang Animation Co., Ltd. This series is composed of realistic yet exaggerated storylines and children's songs that were widely popular in the 1980s.
"Blowing Up the School" tells a story of simple personal judgment clashing with the system; "One Mao Coin" demonstrates how to resist violence not with violence, but in a unique way; "The 38th Parallel" is a return to innocent emotions, where barriers are not external barbed wire but come from within our hearts. These three online animations are the first three feature-length works in Pi San's "Kuang Kuang Kuang Series."
After the Year of the Rabbit greeting card was censored, the Kuang Kuang Kuang homepage and forums were subsequently banned.
After Fatty was detained, Pi San and a colleague stayed up all night, passionately creating a 54-second animated short titled "Cracking Sunflower Seeds," which was then uploaded to China's largest video website. Afterward, it disappeared from Chinese websites one after another.
