Fuku is an elementary school cat who loves napping more than anything and is just a little bit lazy.
By accidentally boarding the crow-shaped time machine, Yacchan, built by his grandpa, Fuku ends up time traveling to ancient Japan!
And there, he meets Sakamoto Ryoma.
Fuku and Sakamoto Ryoma learn that they cannot return to their original time unless they create "karuta" cards from each era.
To make the "karuta," Fuku and Ryoma ride Yacchan and time travel through many periods. From Himiko, Prince Shotoku, Oda Nobunaga, the Shinsengumi, to Perry—many great historical figures (as cats) make an appearance!
