间之楔

The original work is a boys' love science fiction novel written by Yoshihara Rieko with illustrations by Michihara Katsumi, serialized in "Shōsetsu JUNE" in 1986. It previously received a 2-volume OVA adaptation in 1992, and this new anime brings together the original production staff. In the cybercity Tanagra, where the giant computer Jupiter governs all, lives Iason—an elite artificial being known as a "Blondie." Meanwhile, in the lowest depths of the pleasure city Midas, exists Riki—a "mongrel from the slums." The story begins when the two meet by chance. Iason becomes intrigued by Riki, who refuses to kneel to authority or flatter anyone. Incompatible from the start, the two eventually form a twisted bond as master and pet. And thus, fate begins to turn— Inexorably drawing those around them into its vortex. Toward an end where love and hatred intertwine…
