"Let's leave this town together," says Shuichi Saito to his old classmate Kirie Goshima. Kirie is a high school girl who was born and raised in Kurouzu-cho. But now, everything in the town is becoming bizarre: strange whirlwinds, billowing smoke from the crematorium, and even the townspeople are beginning to transform into spirals. People's eyes start to rotate, tongues curl into spirals, and bodies twist into incomprehensible shapes. In order to escape the curse of the spirals, Kirie resolves to flee Kurouzu-cho, but can she truly break free from this chaos?
