Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh) believes himself to be the world's foremost investigator of myths and monsters. In order to gain recognition from the elite explorers' society, he travels to the Pacific Northwest of the United States to prove the existence of a legendary creature known as Mr. Link (Zach), the missing link between primitive and modern humans. Subsequently, Frost, Link, and the adventurer Adelina Fortnight (Zoe) embark on a journey to find Link's distant relatives.
