"Catty-Cornered" The 151st theatrical short of the "Tom and Jerry" series, and the 24th episode produced by Chuck Jones. Jerry leaves his mousehole to steal cheese, unaware that it's a trap set by Tom, and is promptly chased back inside. Jerry's mousehole is located within the wall between two apartments, with a door on each side. Jerry then exits through the other door, only to be chased back again by a yellow cat in the room on this side. Jerry decides to act as bait himself, tricking the two unsuspecting cats into attacking each other... "Cornered" means being trapped or having no way out, while "catty-cornered" in American slang can describe something positioned diagonally opposite.
