Animated History of Poland
From 800 to 900 AD, in a lush, tranquil land where sunlight bathed every corner of the forest, a robust man walked into the central clearing at dawn. He thrust his spear into the soil, establishing the tribe of his people. Centered around this act, a new nation was proclaimed. Yet its growth, prosperity, and proud "Golden Age" were accompanied by endless wars and bloodshed. Two centuries of feudal fragmentation, resistance against the Teutonic Order's invasion, the Polish–Russian War, the Polish–Swedish War, the three partitions of Poland by Russia, Prussia, and Austria, two World Wars, the German Nazi blitzkrieg, the Polish Spring... A nation plagued by countless calamities, enduring a long and painful path to revival, weathered through fire and smoke, praying for a tomorrow of freedom and peace.
