Night had already fallen, but bursts of laughter echoed from the big house. The plump mistress stood on a stool, crying for help as it teetered precariously—little mouse Jerry was gleefully shaking the stool with all his might. The mistress’s shouts woke the sleeping Tom, who rushed over upon hearing the commotion. Yet, he was no match for the agile and clever Jerry, who toyed with him repeatedly. In the chaos, Tom and the mistress tumbled into the basement. The mistress was utterly disappointed; she believed Tom was simply too old. So, she brought in a real mouser—the red cat “Lightning.” True to his name, Lightning swiftly caught Jerry and tossed him outside. His quick movements and elegant demeanor won the mistress’s favor. However, Lightning was not what he seemed. As soon as the mistress left, he raided the refrigerator, feasting greedily and framing Tom for it.
The longtime rivals Tom and Jerry had no choice but to join forces against Lightning…
