"Jerry-Go-Round" is the 145th theatrical short of the "Tom and Jerry" series and the 18th episode produced by Chuck Jones. While being chased by Tom, Jerry escapes into a circus. Jerry helps an elephant by pulling a nail out of its foot. In gratitude, the elephant repeatedly teaches Tom a lesson as he continues to chase Jerry around the circus. The title is a pun on the common amusement park ride, the merry-go-round.
