"The Cat's Me-Ouch" The 142nd theatrical short of the "Tom and Jerry" series, and the 15th episode produced by Chuck Jones. To deal with Tom, Jerry orders a bulldog through mail. However, on the day the bulldog arrives, Jerry opens the package only to face the reality that the bulldog is even shorter than himself. Tom is quite pleased, but this bulldog turns out to be unexpectedly swift and sharp-toothed... The title is a pun on the idiom "cat's meow," which is often used to describe a self-satisfied person or something outstanding among its peers.
