Little John Bailey is a mischievous fellow. One winter night, he wandered into the great forest and, while building a fire to keep warm, accidentally set the surrounding shrubs ablaze. The fire spread uncontrollably, eventually engulfing the entire forest. The animals fled one after another, taking refuge in another forest. Soon, that place became overcrowded, yet no one was willing to return to extinguish the raging fire in the devastated forest. Only Little John Bailey, driven by guilt, worked hard to fight the flames. He clearly felt disliked by the animals around him, so he left and wandered aimlessly. Just as he was feeling lonely and desolate, Little John met an elephant named Big Tusk. Big Tusk’s tail was actually another trunk, which had made him the target of ridicule among his peers. Thus, these two little outcasts became good friends...
This film is the debut work of animator Paul Driessen.
