Using the visual illusion principle where lines and planes converge, the art of depicting three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional plane in a realistic manner is called "perspective drawing," which provides a three-dimensional viewpoint of an object or scene.
Georges Schwizgebel explains what "perspectives" are through a roughly two-minute video and a smooth musical accompaniment. The female model on stage, who gathers numerous focal points, may appear as a moving man or a running beast from other perspectives. This object and that object can be the same entity, differing only in the angle from which the audience views it.
