In a seemingly tranquil small mountain village, an oppressive atmosphere spreads. A seemingly diligent woman secretly picks fruit from the trees while sweeping; a sanctimonious priest occasionally drinks to drown his sorrows; a prisoner in the dungeon feigns obedience while secretly plotting an escape; a miserly old man beams with joy over his hoarded treasures; a fierce outlaw covets the old man's wealth; the outlaw's wife secretly carries on an affair with the tree-planting man... 　　This is a "sunlit" place without any blind spots, where everyone hides secrets in their hearts, yet everyone also pries into the secrets of others. One day, when this distorted balance is unintentionally shattered, the peaceful little mountain village will no longer be peaceful. 　　This film was nominated for the Best Animated Short Film award in 1994.
