On the shores of the East Sea lies the scenic Mount Taimu. Deep within the mountain, there exists a mystical place called the Taimu Secret Realm, home to various spirits of Mount Taimu. Due to humans' reckless destruction of the environment, the spiritual energy of the Taimu Secret Realm has been leaking, pushing it to the brink of collapse. To save the realm, the representatives of Mount Taimu's spirits—Taimu Niangniang and the White Tea Fairy—venture into the real-world Mount Taimu in search of the "Light Chains" to rescue the secret realm. As they search for the Light Chains, they also help the spirits living in the human world with their troubles. However, among these spirits, the antagonist Baima, driven by jealousy toward Taimu Niangniang and the others, constantly schemes behind the scenes, manipulating other spirits to obstruct Taimu Niangniang from obtaining the Light Chains. In the end, through their wisdom and sincerity, Taimu Niangniang and the White Tea Fairy repeatedly thwart Baima's plots, resolve conflicts between spirits and humans, and help the mountain's creatures and the townspeople below coexist harmoniously, allowing the spirits to let go of their resentment toward humans. While helping others, Taimu Niangniang also gathers the Light Chains, ultimately repairing the secret realm and successfully saving Mount Taimu.
