Cuju originated in China and gained worldwide fame.
Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Ji, was deeply fond of cuju. The treacherous official Gao Qiu was rewarded for his exceptional skills, receiving high office and generous emoluments. However, for his own selfish gains, he persecuted loyal officials and manipulated cuju match outcomes. The powerful northern Jin dynasty pressed southward with troops, proposing to decide the fate of the nation through cuju matches. Disregarding national interests and ethnic dignity, Gao Qiu sent assassins to target Hong Feng, Xiang Liuyun, and others.
Fortunately, during their journey from "Fengle Tower" to joining the "Qiyun Society," Feng and Yun honed their skills, mastering techniques such as "Crescent Like a Hook," "Two-Man Small Tip," and "Kunlun Three Kicks." With the help of friends like Suo Yu'er, Jin Baobei, and the righteous warrior Qiu Yan, they ultimately, at a critical moment of survival, defeated the Jin people and averted the disaster of national destruction. Later, carrying the golden boots specially bestowed by Emperor Huizong, they fled with their families to the Western Regions to escape Gao Qiu's pursuit, spreading Chinese cuju culture across the world.
