"Divine Troops", also known as "Divine Troop Heroes", is an animated series co-produced by Hong Kong comic master Huang Yulang and China Central Television. It is originally adapted from Huang Yulang's bestselling comic series "Divine Troops Chronicles". The anime aired in 2007 and 2008, with a total of 52 episodes. The benevolent Earth Goddess and Divine Beast Queen—Nuwa, in order to improve human life, created various Divine Beast Troops (animals) capable of transforming into Divine Troops (weapons with magical powers). With the different abilities of these Divine Troops, the assisted humans lived more happily. For example, Shennong's Ruler could cure all diseases, Ten Directions Brightness helped guide directions, and Divine Dance brought joyful melodies to humanity. Humans and Divine Beasts relied on each other and coexisted peacefully. However, Primordial Heavenly Demon, who had been at odds with Nuwa for thousands of years, sought to dominate all humans. He dispatched his subordinate, the great villain Heaven and Earth Alliance Leader, to corrupt a Divine Beast into the evil Divine Troop "Tiger Soul". They imprisoned Nuwa's successor—the Chief, defeated the city lords of the four major regions: Eastern, Southern, Western, and Northern, and turned all Divine Beast Troops into vicious Demon Beast Troops, becoming a threat to humanity...
