This is the classic tale of the Three Little Pigs. The eldest pig hastily built a house of straw and hay. The second pig constructed a flimsy house of sticks. The third pig, being more diligent, built a sturdy house brick by brick. While the first two pigs idled away their time singing and dancing, the third pig watched them with frustration and continued mixing his mortar. Just then, a cunning big bad wolf from the depths of the forest approached the pigs. Disguising himself as a dancing lady, he tried to lure the pigs. After a chaotic chase, the pigs fled into their respective houses. However, the straw house and the stick house were no match for the wolf. In a panic, the two pigs ran into the third pig's brick house...
This film was nominated for the 1942 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and features Brahms' "Hungarian Dances" as its selected musical score.
