It's another Christmas Eve, with heavy snowflakes drifting in the sky. Everyone is immersed in happiness, even Jerry, the little mouse in his hole, is no exception. At the entrance of his hole lies an exquisite mousetrap, topped with a piece of cheese wrapped in red silk. Of course, this alert little fellow won't be easily fooled; after testing it a few times, he decides to give up. Jerry ventures among the Christmas tree and gifts, playing to his heart's content, eating and drinking freely, only to accidentally wake up Tom, who was sound asleep. On this festive night, the two rivals once again engage in a fierce chase, going back and forth, neither willing to back down, shattering the warmth and tranquility of Christmas Eve. At the climax, Jerry is even thrown outside the house...
This film is the third installment in the Tom and Jerry series and was nominated for the 1941 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
