The anime series "The Story of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva" is a six-episode Buddhist scripture animation series commissioned by Life Television and created by "Huazang Guangming · ALCOO Digital" (Beijing, China). It is adapted and refined based on "The Sutra of the Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva." With a total duration of 107 minutes and a production cycle spanning two and a half years, the series was produced by the Life Communication Culture Foundation, with Master Hai Tao serving as the producer. It was exclusively sponsored by lay Buddhists Guo Cheng and Long Xiu, with Long Xiu and Ji Hui acting as supervisors. A Mang served as the screenwriter and chief director, while Rong Rong was the screenwriter and executive producer. Leading a team of just over ten people, they overcame various difficulties and dedicated themselves to completing the project with meticulous effort.
Starting in 2006, the first film, "Guangmu Saves Her Mother," was produced and completed. In 2007, "The Two Kings" and "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva: Benefits of Seeing and Hearing" were finished. In 2008, "Benefits of Life and Death" and "The Five Heinous Crimes and the Avici Hell" were completed. Finally, in 2009, "The Brahmin Girl" was finished.
