"Oriental Seven-Colored Flower" is a 3D animated series themed around "Our Festivals," telling a story of history and the future, inheritance and development. In the distant future, two youths, Hangdang and Xiaoyu, travel through time via a time machine to historical settings of China's seven major traditional festivals—Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Double Ninth Festival—to gather energy and activate the "Seven-Colored Flower," which powers the energy core of Future City. By awakening the seven petals representing blessings, remembrance, nostalgia, loyalty, reunion, respect for the elderly, and celebration, they thwart Dr. De Li's plot to replace humanity with machine life, ensuring the continuation of cultural and emotional roots for Future City.
